smoking too. I noticed yesterday my tongue is very swollen and the taste buds in the very back are huge. Almost the size of an early pea.

Yes I had a first cousin who still lives in MI tell me when he quit smoking he got his taste back. He was only 18 at the time. He had been smoking for 3 years already.

Every so often I go to Hardee's and get a Mushroom and Swiss burger and it is still very good to me. That's about the only burger I ever get out. We seldom eat out period. It just takes to many dollars out of the food budget any more. $20 for the two of us to get a burger, fry, and drink is just not worth it.

I like those alot too I think sometimes its cheaper to grab a burger then cook but I buy everything . veggies in a can ect..

Got neighbor that had to have half of his tongue cut out because of a cancer from smoking or may have been chewing. I only have 2nd hand info but tobacco was the cause. One major league baseball player had half of his face removed that chewed all game long.

We had company yesterday. I made the buns, Mom made the burger patties. Perfect food.

we had a member here whos DH passed from the same thing except I have no idea if he smoked. She sent me a picture. It was horrid.

Now we just cook the burger patty and call it a chopped steak like the restaurants do. Avoiding buns and bread most all of the time now.
