I do love home made yeast rolls. In high school when the home ec girls made yeast rolls I was in line to get all I could. The cinnamon rolls too.

We had company yesterday. I made the buns, Mom made the burger patties. Perfect food.

I have a yeast roll recipe, and use that for rolls, breadsticks, and hamburger buns. Multi purpose and tastes good for all of the above purposes.

I like those alot too I think sometimes its cheaper to grab a burger then cook but I buy everything . veggies in a can ect..

It isn’t anymore. I can’t get a Mel for less than 10 dollars.

We will not heat the house until Thanksgiving baking now. Then there will be fresh yeast rolls the day the diet cares get tossed for a day.

well thats true . Depends on what you get I guess. Fast food has really gone up but so has groceries.

I've got the yawns. Took meds a bit early. No naps like I had planned today.

We just use bread. Don't need buns. If it is with company then I buy good quality buns.

Good burger meat on sale is $3 a pound here. 75¢ for the meat and 60¢ for a bun and 15¢ for electric to cook it with. Add a dime for the mustard and ketchup. Another 50¢ for lettuce and tomato with a pickle and you have a $10 burger for a $2 at home.

We've been using romaine lettuce to make corned beef salad wraps and will do the same with tuna and chicken salad. I'm going to get another 25 lbs off so I can get new hips.
