Granny's gone and done it again

Tomorrow I start seed for our fall crop of canning tomatoes. Hope we get enough to can and make sauce and ketchup with too. I need 18 pints of hot and spicy chili sauce to make my bean dip with too.

I have some poblano, jalapeno, and cayenne peppers on the plants now. Eggplants too are coming out of their blossoms. We harvested the first sweet corn of the year today. Fresh sweet corn is $18 a dozen in town now.

It's been a long, long time since I grew watermelons. I've got a place to plant 30 hills. Have some of those big Black Diamond watermelon seed... Wheels are turning again.
