I managed to take my meds on time today. At the other half of my sandwich. Tomorrow will be food shopping.

When my kids were little, sometimes there were things they didn't wanna do, and they'd say so. I told them, You don't have to wanna. You just have to do it. Robert can also learn there will be things in life he may not like, but he has to accept. It's your house and you get to make the rules.

Have separated my two broodies from the flock. They are both losing weight. I don't have a good way of breaking them from their broodiness. Normally I'd put them in the pen I'm now using as a brooder or grow-out pen for my chicks. They can't get to their nests and they get to exercise where they can still see the flock. Three days usually does the trick. In the heat we've been having lately, I've found it more humane, and as effective, as putting them in a dog crate. But ... that pen is currently occupied and will be for several more weeks, and .... I do need to reduce my numbers. Sorry, girls.
