Granny's gone and done it again

Scripture? I read Scriptures in the morning. And other times of the day if I think of a question or need something. :)
Scripture, yes, and various devotionals and sometimes mission stories or testimonies. Different things.

Sounds like you have Plantar Fasciitis. Mine has started acting up. :( No fun.
Sorry to hear, Cynthia. Tried the Good Feet store?

I just heard the can opener running so I know it is getting close. I know she is about to add the beans to the ground beef and onions.
I've heard we "eat first with our eyes" but sounds like you eat with your ears! :lau

No way you're that old!

Didnt she travel with the Gypsys ??
Lol! No, in 1974 when I was 21 a covered wagon came through our little town of Manzanola, CO, near Rocky Ford, and we sold everything we owned and joined up with them. It was a fundamentalist Christian family out of Maine traveling through the 48 contiguous States with a message of revival and repentance. The leader, Roland Church, had beliefs pulled from the Mennonite, Amish and Anabaptist faiths and also wanted to know what we believed as Adventists. It was quite an adventure for about 3 months across five states as I recall, but ended when I suffered a miscarriage, went septic and nearly died. An Adventist family in Montana took us in and got us back on our feet.
Because we all pay our tithing. No basket passed around. We faithfully follow the commandment of paying 10%. :)
Adventists also ascribe to the principle of tithes and offerings, and there are wonderful promises attached to it in Malachi 3:8-12.

Morning all, Lots of pain so far today.
Iris, wow! not very often one gets to be with their GGgrandmother! I would sit for hrs to hear my gm tell her stories of past days. Learning how to make her apple jelly was a real treat. Something she didnt even teach her own DDs.

Sorry you are having a lot of pain. I bet that jelly was good.

Good morning, Granny Land! Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday. We are going to visit our youngest daughter, granddaughter and celebrate great grand daughters 6th birthday. It's going to be fun but hot!
What fun! Take lots of pictures, they will be cherished in the future.

What sweet memories! I have memories of my grandmothers, but not of actually doing anything with them. Oh .. wait. One of them tried teaching me how to make tortillas, but ... a handful of flour, "about this much" Crisco, a "little bit" of salt and baking soda (or powder?)... I didn't learn but I liked eating what she produced!

Nope. Might go to my brother’s house briefly but not sure yet.
Does he live near you? Does Bruno get to go?

It's a late good morning peeps but I'm done with feed and water chores. I didn't go with Ma to the birthday bash that is happening at 2pm. I felt I owed it to my kids out there to be sure they have water and not run out as well as watch over them free ranging in the shady places. I didn't turn them out until hopefully all predators have returned to their dens. At noon I'm going to make the rounds again checking on their water.
