Granny's gone and done it again

Early corn all harvested. The forecast for .02" of rain turned into about 3". Corn was laying flat on the ground in sections of the small patch. Had to raise it up to pick it. We finished right before dark. Hated to pick it and not process it but the coons would have gotten a lot of it by morning had we not. One coon finds it and eats a little then his buddies smell it on him and they all come back to party the next night. We had only lost about a dozen ears as of today. I've to fence off the main processing patch with 20,000 volts of a deterrent.

I like to be able to remember what happened at a party and not have to worry if I did something crazy. I've always been the designated driver.

which is how I ended up smoking in Senior year of high school.

They are working quite well. Several times a day. I've got private spots hidden from view all over this little farm of ours. Well the chickens get a bird's eye view but they don't care.

just hope they don't mistake it for a worm or snake and "go for it"

Its also one the same road I live on about 5 miles down. Yard sales everywhere!
maybe you could try and sell your yard and then start over ?? Not sure what sod is going for now days.

Granny maybe Robert will bring you an Elephant Ear back tomorrow. I haven't had one in several years.
I thought about asking him but he is going with his new worker and the less I ask him for anything the better I would feel
