True. Bacon grease only can be made from bacon when you do it yourself. I've never seen that sold in stores and I think the reason why is it can go rancid if not used soon enough. You can make bacon grease in a microwave if you have the tray made to do it with. We bought 4 lbs of thick sliced bacon Friday while it was on a half price sale. It made an exceptional BLT for lunch today. If I do feed out a pig I will get a loin made into smoked chops too and trip the fat and render it and that will be like bacon drippings too.

We keep a tupperware dish in the fridge of bacon grease. We don't use it for much but a dab of it works great for getting the dogs to eat their meds. It gets like lard in the fridge.

She was missing just over night. She has roosted every night since in her coop.

It was soon after it came out that my neighbors were complaining about how they were getting ripped off. They thought everything was included with 0 premiums or deductibles. They expected a free ride for everything. My dad had a name for those types that I can't post here. I was so glad when we moved in 2016 and left them behind.

I'm dreading to see what my deductibles will be for having both hips replaced... I should look that up and not get blind sided. May need to sell some home grown meds I can grow in the okra patch.

Free ride my arse! About 3 years ago, I landed in the hospital. I was then taken by ambulance to another hospital as this one doesn't have intensive care. I had to stay in intensive care overnight to be on the medication they were giving me via IV. (Dangerously low BP, so they couldn't let me go.)

The grand total of all of it was around $5K, and I had to pay for all of it.

I'm glad I have insurance should it ever be anything worse than that, but I'd love to know how they got the impression everything was free.

Maybe vote in local elections but they can't in the state or federal ones.

They drank the koolaid and believe they would be taken care of for life. Always bragging about what the were getting new since their last score.
