Granny's gone and done it again

She was fevered.
I think the ambulance personnel here is volunteer& not very professional. DH is in the hospital a lot. And if he doesn't feel well, he nearly always ends up in the hospital. The sooner he goes the better. The lady on the ambulance told me we need to figure something out to care for him at home. When he gets inflammation, there's nothin I can do at home

We're needing a new fridge. The door won't shut tight unless you push it hard. I've come into the kitchen and notice its not shut tight and fridge is running. Soo, thinking its opening on its own now. Magnets that line the door have lost their grip. I told Austin that I guess we could get new strips. He says no..we need a new one. Our ice and water hasn't worked for years. Funny you mention carpet. I just bought a big throw one for our kitchen. Not as big as the one I had. It really helps the dogs not slip. It's a 4x6.
Idea for you. There are four adjustable legs holding the fridge off the floor. Unless they are dirty and rusted, you can turn those legs with a pair of channel locks. If you're not comfortable getting on the floor, get a younger cousin or something to come visit. Adjust the two front legs UP, 1/2 inch or so, so that gravity helps to hold the door closed. I've bought two new refrigerators in my life - and I gave both that treatment on the day I brought each of them home.

thats not their call to make! What is wrong when he goes?

Did she mean like hospice?
No. To somebody that doesn't know him, he doesn't look as sick as he feels. And he's had a chronic illness since he was little. His own Dr runs the show even if he's on vacation because his problems are so complex that a Dr that doesn't know him almost doesn't know where to begin

Small mushroom from several days ago. The dome was about 3/4" across.
