Here it's a calm heavy drizzle.Hard rain coming in sideways.
Wow great ideaIdea for you. There are four adjustable legs holding the fridge off the floor. Unless they are dirty and rusted, you can turn those legs with a pair of channel locks. If you're not comfortable getting on the floor, get a younger cousin or something to come visit. Adjust the two front legs UP, 1/2 inch or so, so that gravity helps to hold the door closed. I've bought two new refrigerators in my life - and I gave both that treatment on the day I brought each of them home.
I wish we had rainHard rain coming in sideways.
Sure sounds like the sound of a tornado.Little scare here, just moments ago. Loud roaring sound, like a train going by or something. There IS a rail line close enough to hear, and empty cars sometimes rumble like this. I got up, went to the door, didn't really sound like a train. Got scared, and hollered at my wife to wake up. The sound peaked in loudness, then started receding. It didn't exactly have the tones of the hurricanes I've heard before, but near enough to scare me.
There are no tornado watches or warnings tonight - there were plenty last night.
I'm wondering if I heard a jet aircraft, but it didn't seem shrill enough for a jet.
Of course, it's dark, so there was nothing to see.
