I'm having to make a hard decision. My Gracie isn't doing well. She's been getting a sick every day for the past week. She's not keeping her food down..either right away..or ok..I hope this is ok..she is throwing up bile. The last sad straw for me was having to place her in the bathroom last night, should say morning. She woke me up at 3 throwing up, then again at 4. It made me sad that I had to put her in the bathroom. Took her one of the doggy beds. She was exhausted so didn't complain, until Cooper went to the bathroom door whining a couple of hours later wondering why his Gracie was in the bathroom. She's always slept with us, Scott's favorite dog. I have been reading this morning on heart problems with dogs and yes it can cause throwing up. Panting, coughing, of course seizures, which she's had a couple more. She's been doing all of these things. She's fine for a bit up and around but lays around mostly.
Oh dear. Austin will be home early. We're both praying that I'll do the right thing for her.

Aw, Honey! Hugs for you, Gracie and Cooper. It isn't easy, having to make these decisions for our little friends. Is her life still a joy to her? Or is it time to give her rest? I always feel that, when it's time, giving them rest from their suffering is the best, final gift I can give them, because I love them. You'll know when you're both ready.
