Granny's gone and done it again

I thought that she had been injured by a rooster but that was not the case. Her coop mates were injured but not the silkie. My best guess is that she ate something out free ranging that was to toxic for her. I've pulled every nightshade plant I can find and destroyed them where no chicken could get to them. She may have eaten to many tomato leaves. But most of the chickens eat tomatoes and leaves when they get into the area where the tomatoes are without a problem. I found 2 of the small Cornish pullets late today that are underweight like the silkie was when I found her. All the others are lively and full of vinegar. She is terribly missed as she always let me pick her up and hug on her like a puppy.

Think we found a fridge that will fit, tighter than this. Will have to take out part of our cabinet. They make them bigger these days.

I ran into the same problem. I ended up taking the upper and lower cabinet down and carefully taking it apart to make it smaller then get it back together and let me tell you, It was a mission. the wood was super thin and stapled.

A few years ago, we did the switch from American Family to Progressive as they could give me a better policy for way less. Not saying that would be that way for everyone, but it sure was a substantial difference for us!

The only reason I checked into switching was American Family wouldn't give us 1M on our property for while we had men climbing the 125' tower. Progressive wanted to see our policy, and beat them hands down, plus said we could do the 1M for one month if we wanted to.

The agent was looking at our house online from every angle. I never got a quote that they went into such detail. We live in the coal regions and even all the little sheds around here have chimneys. She noticed the chimney on our shed. The house was built in 1900 so I dug out the manual for the 1994 oil heater so we get a discount. Otherwise she would've called it a 1900 oil heater

I dont know the age but the house I owned in Mi. was pretty good quality. Real 2x4s tongue in groove solid oak flooring oak trim everywhere. You just dont get that anymore.

Well there is a point where your health is worth more than saving money on food. Be safe. It will be over 106 for the next 7 days. I am not going out in that heat and neither are my dogs.
