My wife got poison ivy doing laundry. She got it off of my pants that I was wearing when I was out cutting fireplace wood to sell up in NW MO.

Ma had to go to the doc twice to get cortisone shots to get rid of hers. She had to wash my jeans twice to be safe from then own. I think she may have used tongs of some kind to handle my clothes with from then on.

My dad could pull poison ivy all day long bare handed without a problem as it did not bother him at all. I'm the same way. Never got it all the time I cut wood and removed the vines from it before selling it.

I think I've heard of this before. Not sure how that is done but it can't be worse than a mud bath.

The left leg looks so much better! Whew, at least that one's on the way out! Stupid poison ivy though. It's good you read up on it as it isn't an easy thing to get rid of!

Blue if nothing else works take a trip to the River Jordan and dunk in it 7 times. That can't hurt.
