Granny's gone and done it again

I dont think I remember this story Cynthia if you told it before. Is this your child and where/how did it happen?
My sister. She was mentally handicapped. I was her guardian after mom passed. She lived in a home with others like herself. The uneducated helpers took her and others out to swim at our big Utah lake. Non had life jackets. Pretty sure most didn't know how to swim. Lisa didn't. One of the workers looked over and saw her floating face down. They were holding her by her legs and under arms taking her to the van! They didn't even try CPR. A lady on the beach saw what was happening and yelled at them to put her down. It just so happened she had worked in this capacity at another facility and she knew CPR. She didn't hear/get a heart beat and Lisa wasn't breathing. She had a faint heart beat by the time the paramedics got there. That woman saved my sisters life. With the help of God.

Thanks! I buy junk food too in the squirrelly state, especially cannolis for some reason LOL, but for me, unfortunately, at least atm, my squirrelly ness involves much more dangerous things :hit :hide
I am sorry. Sugar isn’t good for me. I have pre diabetes and sugar causes massive inflammation in my body. But I am 24 years clean and sober so I am glad I don’t go down that route.

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to imply yours wasn’t also bad. Sorry if it sounded that way. And I’m sorry it causes issues :hugs Sugar is bad for me too. I have diabetes but I need to start acting like it :hide but it’s just the stuff I buy is… very very bad. Well, not for normal people

Im sorry Cynthia. Yes, I remembered after you retold it to me. The company that sent them out with uneducated workers . I hope there was some type of compensation for her and training for the workers. as we know having so much in common the person responsible for my sisters death walked away free and clear.
