Granny's gone and done it again

he is about the same except he did walk from his chair to his bed this evening.
That's good. I'm sorry, I missed the part where you took him in. Did you go to the ER? When was that?

Sorry, Shrek. Hope it doesn't last. :hugs

Ugh, I hate GoogleMaps! I want a paper map or an atlas. But ... good luck finding one, in this digital age. :(

I don't know ... my purse has a long handle that goes over my neck. How to describe? It hangs on the right side of my neck, crosses over and the purse itself rides on my left hip. Not just something I carry in my hand and can easily set down and walk away from.
does it "lift and seperate" as well :p:lol:

A big Amen to this. I'm terrified at what a pair of new hips and at least one new shoulder will cost.
Last Tuesday, before we left for a family reunion in Minnesota, I was attaching the wysteria to a copper wire hubby strung along the coop. I planted it there a few years ago to cover the south side of the coop to help make it cooler in there. I stepped backwards forgetting there was a short pipe stuck in the ground hubby used to make a fence across the flower bed there to keep the chickens out. I somehow hit the post with my left foot which made me go airborne and slammed down on my lower back, then my head hit the ground.

The next morning it was excruciating to walk but got in the trailblazer with hubby, 11 chicks I couldn't leave behind, 2 dogs, and towing the Scamp camper. We had a family reunion 6.5 hours away. I had a seat cushion to sit on and was fine. Just getting in and out is painful. We got back last night and things have not improved so went to the doc.

I didn't get my x-ray results yet, but the appt was this afternoon so suppose those take a while. I figure I must've fractured my tailbone or bruised it something awful. It's fine if I stand still, sit, or lay, but walking is painful.

So the moral of the story is, you don't even have to be silly out mowing in the heat if you do something stupid like I did to hurt yourself! ☺️

Thanks Roses, It comes and goes. Yeah, I have the disk disease also but the doctor explained to me that the gut inflammation can cause nerve inflammation as the same nerve systems that handle your guts also handle your back. Luckily my DO is one of the best in the area when it comes to doing manual adjustments and acupressure on my back and neck. It helps a lot. And when all else fails he shoots me full of steroids. They are hell on my osteoarthritic joints but they make the pain go away.

Whoever called these the golden years was out of their freaking minds. Tell your mom that she isn't alone and give her a hug for me, please?

I will, thank you <3

The low dose. 250? I think?

My dad used to say they're called that because it costs so much gold to pay your medical bills.

Does it match this chart?

I just hope you feel better soon!

I read your "gold" comment to mom and she got a laugh out of it 😘
