Guy came by. He's 68. I right out and asked. He's only two years younger than me climbing up on hot summer roofs.
1,500 dollars for just part of it done. He suggests the whole back..cheaper in the long run than if I do parts at a time..2,000 dollars. Same thing someone else quoted.

By whole back I mean just replacing the drip edge which involves removing two or three layers of shingles and replacing them. They'll do their best to match my color now. Glad it's in the back.

This is my third estimate. Forgot about a gal that came first a couple of months ago. And, I have one more coming Thursday, after a dentist appointment.
They're all saying the same thing. Reputable roofers.

Tom went to bed at 4. I did get him to drink an ensure before he went. Im scared yall. My upper and lower is the 13th and I have to stop some meds thursday. What if he is no better? Will Robert be able to take care of him? I doubt it.

I hope she makes it, Larry. Darn those hormonal cockerels! I've got five penned up on Rooster Row but I'm starting to suspect that of my ten "pullets," at least one, possibly two, may also be late-blooming cockerels! They're rather aggressive at treat time but so far I haven't seen any breeding behavior. They're just coming 3 months old though, so mama's watching them like ... the proverbial hawk!

Another coming Thursday.
Dripping edge on part of my back isn't catching. They'll have to lift and replace some shingles after replacing the drip edge. Crossing my fingers, actually praying the wood is ok.
