We are fortunate in that we have several Amish discount stores around here. They tend to keep their prices lower than the big commercial stores.

I saw some pecans on one of my trees yesterday or the day before. I need to knock off a few squirrels so we will have some for fruit cake.

I fertilized two of my pecan trees with the specially formulated for pecan trees fertilizer this year once and will do it again ahead of the next rainy spell. I think that it's the zinc that they require is not a normal mineral in most fertilizers.
