Granny's gone and done it again

Blood clots from Lyme? Ouch. I don't think I have ever heard of that although Lyme can cause cardiac inflammation. Sorry in advance for saying this but I can't help but wonder what his status was as far as Covid vaccine is concerned and if there is a correlation between the two.
Yep. Covid vaccine can cause blood clots.

Afternoon ladies and gents. We spent the morning down in the timber tot he east of the house whittling away at the tree we have lovingly christened, Big Bertha. I'm going to have to get a picture of it tomorrow. When the silly thing decided to quit this plain of existence, it fell across a ravine so DH has been scrambling down into the ravine and up the opposite slope with a 20 pound plus chain saw to whittle off branches so we can drag it across the ravine to chain up into smaller pieces. We got back around 11:30, sweaty, tired and covered with saw dust.

@CapricornFarm, I had a similar experience with peach brandy years ago. Had one small glass, maybe 2 or 3 ounces and got as drunk as a skunk. Discovered that it interacted with the beta blocker that I take for my arrhythmia and paroxysmal atrial tachycardia which amplifies the effects of the alcohol. I can't 'imbibe' any more since I had the colon bleed but I learned to slowly sip a drink up till then and don't have too many problems or didn't guess I should say. Bet the same happened to you and you got an interaction.

So here is the pic of the daisies as promised. They are just gorgeous. This one plant an another big yellow sunflower with black center germinated and thrived. We have so many voles and moles that I'm surprised those two escaped their notice but glad they did.

@Twistedacres those pups are too cute to be legal.

Gotta figure out what to do with two roosters who have decided to turn into a two bird mafia and beat up the other roosters in the bachelor pen with them. I was ready to put them in the crock pot last night but neither are very young themselves so gotta figure out how to make another pen in the coop to accommodate them.
How old are you two? No way I could do that.

DH is 73 and I am 71. Old enough to know better but silly enough to not quit. We have 20-21 acres of hardwood timber and heat 100% with wood. All we harvest are dead standing or like Big Bertha, dead standing that have come down. When Bertha hit the ground there was a thunderstorm roaring through right before sunrise. I heard a crash that made me think that lightning had struck close to the house. Found out later that day that nope, it was old Bertha hitting the ground.

Neighbors are always telling us we should buy our firewood from the Amish sawmills. Last we heard they were getting 70$ a face cord and we use10-15 cords per winter depending on what the weather throws at us. Harvesting it ourselves keeps us fit....sore, tired and achy, but fit.

Yeah, That is what I was thinking about the blood clot/Lyme thing. I can't help but wonder what new and different symptoms are going to show up in the future with diseases like Lyme and the mRNA vaccines in general.

Wow you’ve been busy!!! Neat!! Crochet coat!? Cool!!!! I love artichoke dip!! I usually buy the spinach artichoke one though lol
Well, I could have gotten more done. Just finished up the laundry. The heat in my area zaps all my energy. Yep, a crochet coat. I love making sweaters and such. How I make my artichoke dip in 8oz of cream cheese, 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon of dried dill, 1 cup of mayo, and 1 tablespoon of minced garlic. Mix all together in a bowl and bake in a 375F oven for about 25 mins.
I don't go outside unless I have to because of the ticks, and then I wear knee-high boots. Nasty critters I have a horror of them.

Thanks, guys. It is yummy! It's Joanna Gaines' challah bread, with one small adaptation. Her recipe calls for 3 1/2 c all-purpose flour. I substituted one c whole wheat into the recipe and it is absolutely DELICIOUS! We can't stop eating it, lol. GC isn't supposed to have gluten but she couldn't resist a teensy piece.
Looked like challah bread. I like doing an egg wash on mine. Every once in a while I do poppy seeds.

He is horse and buggy Mennonite so I would say with 99% certainly that he didn't have any COVID vaccine. I am waiting to hear if there were some other complications/health problems
