Thanks but she doesn't have Crohn's. She has that allergy you get from a tick bite, Alpha-GAL, it's called. She is now deathly allergic to anything that comes from any mammal. Meat or any dairy product could kill her. It's not a matter of her not being able to digest it. She could go into anaphylactic shock. So she has to have all plant-based products but she can still have chicken or fish. Or eggs of course.

I remember, I was quoting Lovesfarms But I also talked about the 2% because of what you said. So that's how I made it all confusing, lol. Sorries.

Totally makes sense. The eating kind is really not the best. But they do make an oil, even an ultra purified CBD oil, that's reported to be very relaxing. Just used like a lotion. That one shouldn't interfere with any meds.

Yes, my chick's sire is a half-Am EE, and their mothers are also either half-Am EEs or pb Ams. If that makes sense? None of mine are pb Am.

Okay, got it. I wonder what was in the EE sire's mix. Probably Orp? I swear I see it, lol.
And all the parents are lavender or split to lav?

I don't know what his other half is. If you say Orp, I'll believe you. Now that you say that, I think I see it too. All my chicks have a wide variety of combs, so who knows? One pullet has a tiny black comb, it's barely there. I don't know anything about splits or genetics, sorry.

I was right! Hehe! Look at those white legs, modified pea comb with so much straight comb influence, softer feathering, cushion style saddle. I'd peg his orp parent as lavender cuckoo.
So you can call yours "Orpaucana" if you want to... Or Canaorp lol

The pea comb is a pretty good indicator of the blue egg gene, so green or blue eggs. My first gen crosses of Am + Orp yielded medium green to very light green eggs. Second gen is leaning back towards blue so far.
Any pullets with straight combs are unlikely to lay blue, probably tan.
Splits just mean only having one copy of the lavender gene. So they would look black but be able to pass on lavender. But since they're all lav ( 2 copies) that doesn't matter.

Did you say you wanted to keep a boy for breeding?? If so, pick one with a pea comb if you want him to have at least one copy of the blue egg gene.
