Granny, I was hoping when I checked in it would be to find you feeling better.

You really need to get checked out about that blood in your urine and find out where it is coming from.

We have been whittling away at that monster oak that's down to the east of our house. Took the last two days off since both DH and myself were exhausted, sore and needed to get some things caught up around the house.

Had a shocker tonight in the coop. I turned around in time to see one of my three and a half month old bantam cockerels mount and successfully mate one of his clutch mates. Just stood there with my mouth open. Think that is the earliest I've ever seen one do that. I need to switch the large bachelor roosters and bantam bachelors' coop assignments so I can put the young cockerels in with them. I hatched 14 chicks. 8 cockerels and 6 pullets. Wish it was the other way around but feel lucky to get that many girls. Two that I lost at 3 weeks to something genetic were both pullets. Figures.

Anyway, @TLay1946. You sound like me when DH tells me to take it easy with my shoulder....I tell him 'Later. Got too much to do.' But I've had enough rib injuries to know how bad they hurt. Take care and try to take it a bit easy.

And Granny......please find some way to get yourself checked out.

No they aren't. If I remember right they can cause pressure in other areas.

Ya know those little swings that are made for toddlers that mom's use to keep them happy while they do something else? Well it would be a grownup version that would have an electric winch at the top to raise and lower the special medical device chair. The chair would be advertised on Naked People so they could demonstrate how it worked. For the bottom of the seat it would have a custom width G strap with a port for a catheter tube. There would be another custom port on the back side too. There would be a special belt that the strap seat attaches to. The belt would have enough eyelets to attach it to the ring that the wench attaches to. You would have a button connection like the nurse call button in the hospital only it would just run the wench with extra buttons for new modification where needed. It would have a pocket on the best for the TV remote and another one for a cell phone. There would be a small table more holding a dinner plate or used for a laptop to stay tuned on BYC. I think that would be a good start.

How are your late tomatoes doing Larry? Nancy brought me 2 already peeled and cored.

They need to be hoed after I dribble a little fertilizer and lime around them. Then I'll make a little water ring around them and get ready to start trellising them soon I hope. It's been so hot on them they didn't like those near 100° days we've had.

Granny we could hang a curtain around the chair from the lift ring so you would not have to bother with getting dressed. You could really air it all out.

I have told him many times when he goes I am going with him.
Last time I went for this they left me in that bed for hours doing nothing including nothing for pain because I was the driver. I went thru 10 hrs of hell til they finally released me with no help at all
