Granny's gone and done it again

I've seen videos where layer hens were turned loose on a huge dump of a compost area and that's all they got fed. YouTube.
The only thing in this compost heap is the chicken poop from the poop trays and the shredded paper from the floor. No food scraps, we don't want to lure raccoons or other varmints. So no, I do not want the chickens eating out of it. :sick

There are wild muscadines all over the wild lands around these parts. Way up in trees here too. They are the small native non domesticated ones. On the small side. 1/4" to 3/8". The domesticated and new developed varieties can be as much as 1 1/2" in diameter and taste a whole lot better with edible skin unlike the wild ones with leathery skin.

Well, hey, I've got a whole tote full of jeans from years ago that would fit if I could make it down a few more sizes. What might you have in your closet? Or have you always stayed about the same size?

I was listing some things online to see if I could pull a dollar or two out of the dry economy. I saw the price of red meat at Walmart today and decided I could stick with chicken till the next shopping trip
Yes, everywhere. You should hear Canada complain! They're posting all sorts of complaints.
I can't complain. Still have it pretty good over here. If I can say I need to lose some weight, maybe I can do without a little.

Sounds comfy! Except for the sweat part. In FL we don't appreciate that, hehe. I used to have some nice yoga type pants comfy and affordable, but every pair ended up shrinking in the length of the leg over time from being washed... until eventually taking a step forward would pull the pants down from that side of the waist. Probably would have to be expensive ones to not have that problem.
