I hope my rib doesn't take a year too but Im not sure how it will heal when one half is sitting on top of the other.I understand your plight. I drive very little now. Maybe I will drive more after this weeks testing.

Thanks, i'll try that. I'll also put the crate in the chicken coop at night. She needs to start roosting in there. If she IS a she ... sent pics to the breeder for an opinion.Why not put it in a kennel for a few days in near the pullet coop door so the other hens can see her and after a few days put her in coop at night?
sounds good. Do you use cheese cloth to strain it?Never did sleep but I rested. Ma has a very large pot of grapes simmering for jam. I'm going out now to try and pic the rest that are on the vine.
