Granny's gone and done it again

If it's that progressed you need to stop working outside. After his second heart attack the Cardiologist told my father the biggest risk for patients like him was the heat. Didn't want him exposed to temps above 75 for longer than 15 minutes. Thermoregulation is all messed up.
There's a reason why when the power goes out in summer a lot of heart patients die.
You may have to change your lifestyle. Keep just your pet birds. Do you actually need a garden?
The gardens will be smaller next year and none in the summer. Attrition is lowering bird numbers already. Wife is a nurse and she works outside with me. I only spent 30 minutes outside this morning in the cool. One more day here of hot temps. It's cooling down well with lows starting to drop into the 60's. We are migrating from vegetables that have to be planted every year to a muscadine vineyard that gets maintained in the winter when the vines are dormant. I think managing 18 vines is doable.

I am. 4 cardio appointments starting Wednesday. 3 major tests then the session with the doc after that. I feel like something is deteriorating and am not expecting a clean bill of health this go around. Hoping nothing worse than another stent. Really hoping it is nothing more than a stress pain. Getting joint replacements is easier with not heart problems.
I think Cap means, if you need nitro, you should get checked IMMEDIATELY, like at the ER, not a week or two later. It's wonderful that Iris is a nurse and looks after you, and no disrespect but she is not a doctor (cardiologist) and does not have the equipment to check or monitor your heart.
