She saved her cards and letters which proved to be interesting because among them were letters from Mom when she was young.

I don't care for Apple butter either. Probably had to much of it in my life, it's the poor man's jelly because you don't have to add as much sugar

I love lumpy mashed potatoes. I know they are real and not that powdered stuff.

Sounds like it looks like chocolate pudding... It's the taste that counts not the color. We kept a kid for a few weeks once that would not taste anything green. Nothing at all. She deprived herself of a lot of good nutrition doing that.

I like my apple butter flavor to have a lingering tartness after the initial sweet-ish flavor.

We already have made plans to find a you pick orchard with apples to make apple sauce and some canned in chunks for pies and cobblers.

Do you go back and read them? It's better then TV. Brings back so many lost memories. Intriguing, My Aunt even kept a letter from a fellow Church goer that had stepped on my Aunt's toes and was begging her forgiveness!
