Granny's gone and done it again

Granny look up a site called Veritashealth.com. I get a news letter from them once a week concerning spine and joint health. If you go there, scroll down to 'spine health' and it says 'our sites'. They explain things in easy to understand ways for non medical people and you can search things like 'neck pain' 'back pain' etc and they will give you gobs of information and videos to watch and read.

One thing I will say and @Cynthia12 has already said it when she said it was a rough surgery. Any back/spine surgery should be approached very cautiously and only when all other options are depleted. It's a rough recovery and results aren't always great. Everyone is different in the way they respond to back or neck surgery but recovery is always slow.
Slow but worth it! My head now turns with no pain in all directions. Plus I don't have to walk around with my arm up on my head to ease the horrible pain. I remember when I stood in front of the MRI images the dr was showing me. He says, look at that big ol blown disc, and these 2. I stood there for as long as I could without putting my arm up. Then I just had to. He looks at me and says ..yep..see this often to ease the pain.
I asked what that was below the 3 he pointed out. He told me they were bad also but aren't causing any problems..will do those later He says. :( Well, I can feel them acting up at times. Not nearly as bad as the ones taken care of. This time I move my head a different way I to a different position to help with the pain.
Granny, with my first bad ones, I also had really bad pain shooting down between my shoulder blade..left one. Are you having pain down by your mid back? Had to do therapy first. Of course that did nothing.

I took a few photos of my neck MRI'S.
Here is before. I think you can see the three areas that were pushed into my spinal area. One close up from a front view. I swear it looks like that disc is saying...neener neener.

Here are a couple after surgery. They had me bend my neck front and backwards.
I had a MRI recently because of my wozzy/dizziness. Wanted to make sure there wasn't something else going on to cause it. I went to the Neurologist that did the surgery. They were very pleased to see everything looking good with the screws and bars put in.
This is not long after the surgery, the one I saw lately of course was on their computer. No more sending MRI home with patients.
