Hurricane Ivan was 2008. Ivan the Terrible was in the 1500's.

I used to work in an Aerospace machine shop and titanium was machined there for jet engine components. It is a bear to machine. I never did. I only had to do steel and aluminum machining.

Interesting. The rods of titanium they put in Richard's back, broke in half. From him bending over, over and over again. He has to bend to getting into and out of his chair. When he went in for a MRI, they were surprised.
They weren't doing any harm being broken so they left them in. Didn't help much for his posture anyway.

Once I get home tomorrow I should be around more than usual during the day with the rain that is forecast. Hour after hour of 90% plus chance that we will be having a thunderstorm. I'm glad that his is not the tornado season here.
