Granny's gone and done it again

That’s a bummer. No chocolate I can eat certain sugarfree types with allulose. I mourn all the food I cannot eat but I feel so much better when I don’t. I just wish I could shutoff the little voice that wants food all the time.
I hear you. I had to go on the modified diet when they discovered I had the chronic gastritis/colitis but then my Lipid profile was high and they put me on statins that I quickly discovered I couldn't tolerate. So I had a choice. Try more medicines or lose weight and eat healthier. I chose the latter, lost 25 pounds, brought my labs into range but OMG do I miss fried chicken and chocolate anything.

Admittedly I do cut loose over Christmas and eat cookies but as soon as the holiday is over, it's back on the diet. But it's amazing on how much chocolate I can cram in my face in a few short days.;)

what does m&Ms have to do with divers?
Nothing to do with diverticulitis but everything to do with a suffering chocoholic and M&Ms are my very favorite.

Granny, I agree with @BigBlueHen53. If you know you are going to have to go to the ER, that's half the battle. The other half is getting your sweet self in a car and getting there. You are important. You matter. You deserve not to hurt as bad as you are hurting.

Every time we buy pullets for layers they automatically become pets for life. When they are old they are not required to lay a single egg. People that don't have chickens would never understand that but I know they keep dogs and cats that don't give them anything to eat ever.
That reminds me, we have a thirteen year old hen. She laid four eggs this year so far.

well Robert wont give Tom his shot and Tom cant seem to do it himself so I need to work that out in my head and I truly am hoping Dr can do something out patent or at least a minimal stay
Why not? Is this a daily thing? Has he been doing it?

Could the doctor maybe set up a visiting nurse? Home health care?

DH had to take on of our red heelers in for his shots today. The vets we have now operate an all woman clinic. They are excellent vets and go out of their way to make the animals comfortable while they are there. Wish they would succeed with those four heathens of ours, lol.

Anyway, while he was waiting to be called back, he heard the receptionist answer the phone. Somebody asking how much to spay a dog. 480 dollars. Yikes! I asked if they made an appointment. Nope. I think it was a little over 200 when we had Rocki spayed. But just for shots and heart worm test it was 181 dollars. Sigh, oh well, it's only money.
