One more thing for you to manage.
Yesterday found out DH's vit. D levels are way too low. He takes liquid D so either he's not taking it right or he isn't absorbing it. Now he has to take it stronger. I'll put 10 drops on a spoon, put it back in the dropper and mark the dropper so he doesn't have to count every day.
But sugar levels dropping is scary. When I worked at the hospital it was my job to keep fridges stocked with OJ for patients with diabetic lows

We hit the road early this morning. 9AM. DH had a doctor's appointment, from there we hit Wally World to find work shoes for the farm. I was tickled I found a pair of heavy duty sneaker style shoes with reinforced composite toes on clearance for 19 dollars. DH found the men's style of the same shoes but had to pay 35 for them. From there hopped next door to the C&R grocery store and picked up some more groceries. We are trying to stock up for wintering over. I swear I've spent about 1200 dollars so far this month in food and still have a few things to pick up.

Swear I'm getting so tired of finding something on my list, looking at the price, putting it back on the shelf, sighing and walking away. And we don't eat fancy by a long shot.

Got home, put everything away then we went for a long walk in the woods. 45 minutes hiking up and down hills, enjoying the fall foliage with our two border collie mixes. They are 11 now so every fall is a blessing with them.

@Granny Hatchet good pick up and save with Tom's blood sugar bottoming out. It's always scary when it happens but you handled it like a pro. Are you doing accu checks on him before you give him his insulin? If he is bottoming out on you I would be checking him before you do so you can tell if he is eating enough to warrant giving him his insulin. I f he is low, give him something to eat. Recheck him afterwards and then decide. May be time to have a talk with is doctor if he keeps doing that. It's a heavy load for you to carry on those shoulders of yours.

yes, he did. He has also lost some weight.
