@microchick - DH is packing his back pack now. Curious if you did that too. He raided my medical supplies today and is putting in eating utensils. Not sure what else he's putting in but he's been busy. He wants to add 2 sleeping bags. He thinks he would be more comfortable using it to sleep in this winter instead of turning the heat up

??? Is he planning to sleep outside? Prepping to go hunting? Or what?

They get Purina puppy chow. I'm almost finished with the second bag. When I brought him home (8wks) he didn't want to eat. I gave him some Similac with a medicine dropper and tried soaking his food. I thought maybe he wasn't weaned well enough or just the change. My nephew gave me some of his'used' shavings so they smell like his mama and he won't cry. He didn't cry for her. For treat I have small milk bones and I break them too.🤣 I have some peanut butter sticks that I give occasionally. They chew a lot so I give some oinkies. Those are too keep them occupied. Pig skins
Nice!!!
I want to switch treats to anything that is good for joint health Did you ever try esophagus chews? They also have glucosamine in them. The problem with those and chickens feet, they eat them too fast. I like it chews last awhile
I’ve never tried those. I used to get Brew bully sticks and pig ears occasionally but he hasn’t had those in a long time. I got him those cheese chew things one time too LOL
Do you get special food for your show dog's? Anything specific for their joint health?
I bought those Dasuquin one time but it’s expensive
No clue what that is.

Same as my dogs get

x2?
Brew and I love it lol

I've seen "chicken paws" at WM a time or two but it doesn't seem to be a regular thing. The first time I saw them I was just startled. I've been watching for them so I can use them to make bone broth. But if I don't see them again I'll try to remember to ask the butcher if I can have just the chicken bones from when the sell boneless breasts and thighs. Surely they'd let a person have those for a reasonable price?

You would think they would sell them! It's cooler weather now. A good time to make a batch of broth
