No lid, you really can't. Just put the honey bear or other container in a 1-qt saucepan with a couple inches of hot water in the pan. Turn the heat on low and let it set, don't let the water evaporate. Like they said, shake the honey bear from time to time as the honey melts but use a pot holder.
No need to refrigerate honey, it's naturally sterile. In fact you can use it on wounds if you don't have antibiotic ointment.
