doing before you loose or accidently swallow it would be my suggestion. Speaking from experience. NO FUN playing "button, button who's go the button>
 
DH requested 3-bean salad for dinner tonight. So I rinsed a can each of black beans, Great Northern beans and green beans and put them in a bowl. Then I thought, you know what would be good in this? A can of shoepeg corn. Rinsed that and added it. Chopped half a sweet onion and put that in too, with a pinch of kosher salt and some raspberry- walnut vinaigrette dressing. And behold, it was very good! 😆
