In KY. I used to take off in the AM and start my little journey and be gone most of the day. I would find stuff to eat while I was up there and one time I let the day get away from me so I made me a little bed out of the leaves and spent the night. Mom never worried. I miss those days.

It really was. I was happy. Drinking from the streams and eating fresh berries and greens. My favorite green was birds toe. I would also take it home and pour hot bacon grease on it to wilt it.

Pain is just worse as the day goes by.Cant even clear my throat or get off the toilet. I skipped my muscle relaxer and found a flexaril I had been giving before. I don't normally take those as they are 2 strong and give me a 2 day hangover.

Goodnight Granny Land. My day started at 5:30 this morning and it's been a doozy. Have an MRI scheduled for my neck and shoulder. Dog thinks it's not my shoulder but rather in my neck (again). He pushed down on the top of my head compressing my neck and it shot fire down my arm. Took ma to Hardees for anniversary lunch and got her the brown bag special. I won't be around much before the first of next week. More company coming in every day now.

Ah, I miss my Colorado mountains! No snow here yet either. Just rain. Actually built a fire in the wood stove tonight. Cold and damp. It's only in the upper 50's, but feels colder bc of the damp. And the coughing isn't helping.

I hope you feel better soon. Damp weather isn't helpful!
