Not just about killing them either. Chasing them can terrorize them that they stop laying, or they will just stay in the cornerAnother dog came over snooping around today. My neighbor says he doesn't think this one will bother my chickens bc it is "a big baby." Sigh. I told him if the chickens run - and they will - it will trigger a chase response in the dog. So he suggested putting an e-collar on the dog and giving me the remote!
I said it's worth a try and better than nothing. I did not tell him I will have the remote in one pocket and my pistol in the other .... I just hope my dogs don't get between me and it.![]()
Surgery. I would be looking Granny. It helps so much to have a bad shoulder fixed.Thank you. And, well, under my ribs is hurting pretty bad. It feels like the other side when I broke a rib. I'm pretty sure its muscle though. Hurts all the time but worse when I cough or get in and out of my chair. I still have the bed sore as well BUT My arm is about 70% better than it was. Pain is still there and I can't carry anything with it yet. I am so sick of pain. It surrounds my whole life. Sometimes I really have to wonder why Im hanging on to this way of life. There has to be something better.
Anyhow, Good morning all .![]()
I tie a knot in a sock and my dogs love to play tug of war with it. I buy socks from the dollar store for them.Ryder's favorite toys are the ring from a canning jar and a sock tied in a knot. The expensive purchased toys get destroyed so quickly, especially once Jenny gets hold of them! Oh, and sticks. He loves sticks.
I'm still coughing. Weeks.Ah, I miss my Colorado mountains! No snow here yet either. Just rain. Actually built a fire in the wood stove tonight. Cold and damp. It's only in the upper 50's, but feels colder bc of the damp. And the coughing isn't helping.
I already tried. They just don't wanna operate on me. How are you? How was the house?Surgery. I would be looking Granny. It helps so much to have a bad shoulder fixed.
Thanks, farms. Guess this just has to run its course. They gave DH steroids and something for cough, he's gradually getting over it, they said it was viral. I think for a cough I'd rather have humidity than dryness. If it's chilly again tomorrow I'll keep a fire going low with a kettle of water on top to keep the air moist.I hope you feel better soon. Damp weather isn't helpful!
