dental update. $110.00 for an xray and to be told NOTHING he could do. with that crown or the part of the tooth was left.

BUT, for another $215 they would do a panoramic image of my upper and diagnostic casts and to discuss a "treatment plan" (those words scare me) ONly 3 years and 9 months on I will be on medicare and could get a full set of dentures.

Oh phoo! If you have a tooth on either side of it they should be able to make you a bridge, no worries, piece of cake. Get a second opinion.

yes it has but I don't believe they cant make a new one. Make sure you get a copy of your x-rays. You paid for them and shouldn't need to have them again for a second opinion.

that's one of the options he mentioned. or a partial or full dentures.

The "plan" in the future is/was implant posts and then bridge/place for both the top and bottom teeth.

So your gonna walk around with a rotted tooth in your smile? Doesn't sound like you. Get a flipper like Blue said til you are ready for dentures because Im gonna tell you, dentures suck.

Why would you do full dentures unless you have a head full of rotten teeth? Your teeth give your face structure and shape, removing them causes your face to collapse like a rotten apple!

BUT it is the cheapest option. (squeak) NOT one I want as I am now lisping occasionally when I talk.
