Granny's gone and done it again

Morning meds are putting me down for a nap. I'm making some changes in them. Some I can take with lunch and then a nap instead of being knocked out within an hour of taking them. The nerve burn med, Gabapentin, will be one of them. No more Benadryl in the morning either. With this radical change in the weather I think I can skip the Benadryl now.

When I was in my younger days, I weighed a few pounds less,
I needn't hold my tummy in to wear a belted dress.
But now that I am older, I've set my body free:
There's the comfort of elastic where once my waist would be.
Inventor of those high-heeled shoes my feet have not forgiven:
I have to wear a nine now, but used to wear a seven.
And how about those pantyhose, They re sized by weight, you see,
so how come when I put them on the cro tch is at my knee?
I need to wear these glasses as the print's been getting smaller:
And it wasn't very long ago I know that I was taller.
Though my hair has turned to gray And my skin no longer fits;
On the inside, I'm the same old me, It's the outside's changed a bit.

Im sorry to hear about your SM H2o There are hundreds of lost lives due to medical mistakes but even more are saved. That's why they call it practicing medicine. I agree they push it too far and sometimes you have to say no but I also believe you know your body best and sometimes you have to say yes.

I'm not coughing from my head any more like I was, I'm coughing from my chest. It's deep, profound, racking and sometimes painful, but (thankfully) not nearly as often as it was! A good big swig of Robitussin seems to help control it when it gets out of hand . I'm better every day.

Today I cleaned my car's seats with upholstery cleaner. Now they look like new! They're cloth. And they looked like a whole family had gone swimming in river water then just jumped in the car soaking wet. :sick But it cleaned up real nice.
That's how mine worked. A dry cough at first, then settled in my chest.
Nice clean cars feel good. :)

Morning all, A whopping 3 hrs sleep last night. I just cant seem to get the hang of sleeping in this stinking chair. I have reason for not trying to sleep in my bed yet so here I sit.
I'm feeling bad this morning. I talked to the people that are getting Toms riding chair and he was approved. They are supposed to call today with a delivery time next week I think they said. I asked how much they cost and I wish I hadn't. I don't think Tom will even use it in the house and Ive been told it will be too heavy to load in the van. Are you ready for this? 20k. ya, She said that's going price for the one he's getting.
