Tom just got up thinking it was 8:30 AM. I finally got him back in bed with his asking me if Im trying to get rid of him.

No open house tomorrow. Ashton is really sick. Can't stop coughing. At emergency care at a pediatrician right now. Thinking whooping cough. Poor guy is miserable. It's just non stop. I'm really worried. Waiting for Bronwyn to get back with him.

Ashton is sick, again.
Coughing. Heard whooping cough is going around, not only our state but spreading nationally.
Watching and listening to how the cough is going.

Are we not all vaccinated for whooping cough?
Wonder why it isn’t working. Are these kids getting it?

Not whooping cough. His throat is swollen. They gave him steroid..the swallowing kind. Said to watch him closely and if he starts wheezing again to take him to the ER. Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Says it viral.
He's home. Bronwyn will be watching him through the night. I can hear him coughing. He's so worn out. Hope he can fall asleep. Dr did say if he gets croup to take him out to the cold or steamy bath.

The whooping cough vaccine doesn't provide lifelong protection, and immunity typically wanes 5 to 10 years after the last childhood vaccine.
