Granny's gone and done it again

I think he's being a normal man... And she's a normal woman....a normal couple after being together many years😂
I don't know, mt Scotty was still saying..hello beautiful when he or I walked into a room after not seeing each other for a while. I was in my mid 60's before he started showing his Dementia.

Evening, everybody!

I went out for a late afternoon hike yesterday and this is part of what I experienced at dusk.View attachment 3998370
So beautiful! I'm a little jealous, Troyer, I guess I will always miss my Colorado mountains. But I won't go back. Colorado has gotten too crowded for me. MT is still beautiful!

I will not take a vacation without her. Someone has to drive.
Don't you drive, Larry? Have you considered a train vacation?

Only way we can go anywhere, one of us stays home
Understand that. But for us, home IS vacation! If any of my relatives want to see me, we have plenty of room here. My traveling days are over.

Yes I drive some just not any long distance alone. I don't like driving on major highways now at the age I've reached because of family history of sudden death from ruptured aneurysms. Lost both grandfathers to them. One was 6 years younger than I am and one was 4 years older than I am. I would hate to be responsible for a high speed high fatality accident. I drive into town on the back roads here for minor shopping. I go after milk and peanut butter and chicken feed. Went and got lawn mowing and other small engine gas this evening. Speeds for this is seldom above 35mph. I can enjoy the ride.

That's very sensible, Larry. :hugs

They told me I had one but nothing else. Like, am I supposed to get it rechecked in a year or? Is it safe to lift weights? I don't know diddly about it.

Most of the corn and beans that we plant nowadays are newer varieties. The heirloom varieties may have worked better. The silver queen corn used to be big stalks. We always saved our bean seeds every year. Maybe the bean plants weren't as big either? My GF used to save his cattle corn seed every year. Dad Said they only got nubbins.
I was reading scientists take seeds to space & are using radioactivity to mutate them. Just like the radioactivity at the Chernobyl radiation disaster is changing wild animals. (Green frogs to black)
I used some Silver Queen and had the same problems with it. I also have an extreme climbing variety of beans that were the worst, I planted late and still got bean vines that were eight feet tall. Some of my beans are determinate and those I had no problems with the corn stalks falling over. The problems are with the climbing varieties.
