Granny's gone and done it again

It is one of my dreams to go into a tea house in london, to do a tea... ceremony I think they call it☕
I had an English teacher at college (I only got to take 4 credits, long story), who had a Japanese friend. We all got together for a Japanese tea ceremony, and were provided the most beautiful kimonos to wear. It was fun, fascinating and elegant. Although the tea actually tasted terrible!

That's so cool! And sounds like it was so much fun! lol was it green tea?

I've seen videos, It looks very intense but at the same time peaceful and elegant. Another question was it powdered green tea?
Oh goodness this was .... 30 years ago! 1993. But yes I think it was.

Does sound nice Blue. Is a kimono like a muumuu? I would love to wear those all day every day

Just remember if you get served tea in England, do NOT drink it with your "pinkies up!" That is the height of bad manners. Fingers together, they call it "doll hands"!
I still drink like that. It bugs me.
