They have made me so paranoid. I don’t want to get the latest crud and if I must please after Christmas.

Well they wouldn’t let anyone in with sick people. They made people die alone It was horrible.

they did that to my Aunt. To visit her you had to

1) be outside
2) sit 6 feet apart
3) wear a mask
4) have a sheet of plexiglass between you
5) NO touching of any kind

BUT it was OK for her roommate to have covid.

When it comes to freedom of expression, I'm not a 'politically correct' type of person. When I laugh, it's not always the circumstance- sometimes I am amused at the way somebody says something.
For instance, if Granny says she has the squirts, I don't laugh because she isn't feeling well but I may find it amusing that she would say it like that.

That's what attracted me to this thread, Granny's openness and humor at things she should be upset about but she can make light of it.

I also love the Dean Martin Roasts and their light heartedness without having to use 'politically correct' speech.

If I offend people so much that they need to question why I laugh, maybe I was wrong about this thread.

Well, we have a hic up in buying this new place. Insurance will not insure if the roof is over 15 years old. The home is 22 years old. Quotes today on new roof, 11,500..and 10,900.
Not sure what the sellers will do. They can't sell that house not only to us this way, not to anyone.
We won't pay for that.
