Granny's gone and done it again

I see. I guess it's all in the cards. Que sera sera as they say. Is it a nursing home they're talking about or convalescence?
rehab but I guess the rehab is inside a nursing home.I haven't heard that word convalescence in a very long time.

yes, the place he goes to will take his check. I should be able to draw more on mine though since we wont be living together.
My mentally handicapped sister was in a home. They did that. I never had to pay a penny. They also had her meds paid for, and she had a regular drs visit. Nurses on duty always.
I worked in a nursing home for a short bit, then longer at an Assisted Home Living. Both places here did an excellent job of taking care of the folks there.

My sister started out as rehab..but because she kept having to go back to the hospital for her fistula she needed to stay as a permanent resident. She had a port many times. She finally said enough. Came home. They gave her a week at the longest. She lived 5! So happy of course but especially because she made it through Easter. I have video of her finding eggs in the yard. :)

not only that but once he is in there this house is no longer mine to leave to Robert. They want you to sell it and they get their money back for taking care of him. It's about what's best for Tom though and right now, that's not me

And y'all live on the street? I don't think so. Being his wife that house is half your's. I don't know what names are on the deed but I can't see them throwing you out in the cold.
