Granny's gone and done it again

My mom's SSI check went to the facility in FL but my brother and I got her house.

I just talked to the night nurse, They have Tom tied to the bed. He is struggling to get up. Nurse said he is in there talking to me. She said he is combative when she is trying to turn him in the bed. This feels so wrong.

Tom is not in his right mind. What they are doing is for his own good.

My wife has worked from pediatrics to geriatrics and has seen so much. Oh and the ER.... some really weird stuff went down there. One night at a nursing home she found a lady Tom's age that was supposed to be in bed dressed in street closes all gussied up and when she was ask what she was doing her answer was, "I am going out to get me a man".

Granny, I know this sounds terrible but ... what if he was like this at home? You could not handle him.

He is pushing 90 yrs old. There's got to be a better way for him to go out.

Then I couldn't handle him BUT what if its the drugs they gave him

I thought they were going to keep him sedated?

He is pushing 90 yrs old. There's got to be a better way for him to go out.

He could be sedated....

Then I couldn't handle him BUT what if its the drugs they gave him

Get a list then of the drugs they gave him and check them out... I very seriously doubt that a drug is causing his delusions.
