Granny's gone and done it again

I've had my usual peanut butter and muscadine jam sandwich for breakfast already and I can feel abnormal thinks in my throat area. No fear of getting to the bottom of it. Far more concerned to know what is going on than any tube they might want to put in me again. I was in a twilight during the last injections into my hips but I sort of remember them doing it but no memory of any kind of pain. From now on those injections will be done in a hospital because of my heart. I got the first one in an outpatient surgery center where I got epidurals in my lower back. I much preferred going there as they had the same equipment for the procedure. They don't have the level of response if there is a problem that would be cardiac related. I think it is a CYA on their part which could be a smart move on mine too.

Back a couple of pages when y'all were discussing the swallowing problems...I told my surgeon doc yesterday about it getting harder to swallow when taking my meds and that's one of the reasons he wanted another US on my neck. Not just the thyroid but the whole neck. So far food is not an issue but the writing is on the wall and some of you know what I'm referring to. I remember when first my mom had to have coaching to teach her how to swallow when in her 90's. Then during my brother's last days he had swallowing therapy. How he could even remember from one hour to the next is beyond my understanding.

:hugs

Granny I can understand being afraid of having the tube but I've had it and it was a breeze. Don't remember a thing. I was having the tube from both ends the same day and time. One trip and it was all over with. My only concern was to make sure that doc went in from the top first unless he was using a different tube from the top than he did from the bottom. :)
I've had that a few times Larry. Yes, they let you sleep thru it. This is something different. Your awake while you swallow down a thin tube which measures how strong your throat is.
