Granny's gone and done it again

Shrek you can get reusable and microwaveable containers to make warm ahead meals in. We do it all the time. Great way to save money by using leftovers for future meals that are better than those factory meals.
Thanks!!!! I’ll have to try that!!!!!! And clear some space in my freezer lol

SD, those soup veggies I named are in Olive Garden's minestrone, I make it all the time and it's delicious. The only difference is they use a small shell pasta for a carb and I use corn bc my GC is gluten intolerant.
I love their minestrone soup!!!!! Might have to try making that lol

Waiting for more family to get here. Richard is here.
Mindi was going to come but , Ashton is coughing, again. Beginning to wonder if he has Asthma. :(
Grandkids are bringing ham and fixing. No table here. They're bringing a folding table and some chairs. Yaay.
Mindi may come to watch gift openings. She's having surgery on Monday so being careful. Not sure about that cough Ashton had.
Merry Christmas everyone!

I still use milk, some cheese, and whole grain bread - in moderation. There's whole wheat pastas available.

Make a nice vegetable soup and eat on that for a couple days a week. Saute diced onion and celery in olive oil till tender, toss in some diced garlic and heat till tender. Pour in a box of vegetable, beef or chicken broth. Add drained cans of beans in it, any two of black beans, navy or kidney beans. Put in half a cup each of diced fresh carrots, diced fresh zucchini if you have one, and a can of drained green beans. Toss in a handful of frozen corn. Add a handful of spinach a few minutes before serving, just to wilt it. Salt to taste. Your body will love you for it.
That sounds so good Blue. Thanks for sharing.

Second dinner (steak, peppers and onions, two eggs) is much healthier than the first (grilled cheese) LOL
