Granny's gone and done it again

I don't like them. I love them. I still remember the first one I got in NE MO where I had several pork producing friends that were full time family farmers. They grew corn and ground it into feeder pig mash with an added protein supplement. I think the protein was from alfalfa and cotton seed meal.
I need to try one. How is their barb que sauce?

Sort of... But that is not what I'm referring to. What was taught in school chem class is that it is basically a very, very old form of liquid compost. There are lots of different types of crude oil based on actual chemical make up. Crude oil contains some many of the pure elements in different proportions that can effect what it can be used to make.

These are the known elements now. I cannot fathom how chemists can figure out what atoms they can't see are made up... I sort of understand the bonds between atoms and how they join to make a compound of two or more atoms from this chart.
