Wow. I forgot how busy this thread is. Took me 10 minutes to catch up with today!!! So fun seeing people I haven't seen in a while. Glad most of you are doing okay!

Granny Hatchet, I'm sorry it sounds like you had a heart attack. That is very tough.

I can't possibly respond to all the comments I've read today. Still trying to soak it all in. But here are a couple that stood out to me.

Two of the dozen girls lived past two years. I lost one just before the above photo was taken. Neither were supposed to have lived over a few weeks.

No doubt. But my DH is very reluctant to get up on the roof. He's not even crazy about cleaning the gutters, tbh. He's not lazy. He's pushing 70, I don't blame him. Who wants to fall at his age?

I won't let my husband get on the roof. He IS 70. He is always upset when I pay someone to come clean the gutters, but I'm afraid of heights, so he has to live with that.

I'm so sorry. It must be terrible to deal with depression that hits you out of the blue. I've only experienced depression that has a source, such as the death of my son. That grief can strike me out of the blue, so maybe I understand a little.

If you figure it out, share your secret. I was just saying at dinner that I need to eat slower. A hold over from my single mom working days is that I eat very fast. There was never time for that sort of frivolous thing.

I have had several but the last one was a stemi and that one really turned my world around
