My lunch dessert consisted of a quarter of a waffle spread with jalapeños jam and the jam topped with butter .

Interesting. When I have a waffle (rare) I put the butter on first so it will melt.

I had egg plant parm. for my meal today. It was frozen and I didn't realize family sized It was pretty good.
