-9?Don't worry, Prostar, my pitching arm ain't what it used to be.
We are still dealing with snow, but the wind has been kind to us so it hasn't been too bad. My birds are faring well and the new road commissioner is keeping his campaign promise and actually plowed the road...twice!
This could almost make me like winter!
Plus, just got in from the coop....with 9 eggs! Since it's unlikely that all the bantam hens I hatched laid on the same day, I suspect some of my older girls have started laying also. Definitely not telling me that spring is around the corner but I'll take what I can get at the moment with the temp 17° after a low last night of -9.
I see folks trying. I figure what's the point. That is, if you're trying to change someone's point of view. They're not going to change their view of it all, and the other side isn't either. Why keep bringing it up when it only causes ruffled feathers ..if you will. Folks waiting to hear..I agree! Not worth it. Have to notice how some folks just right down enjoy drama so I don't get involved..like I used to. I finally realized what was happening to me.Yes you can’t say anything negative about any vaccine or you will be put in FB jail. Glad I can speak freely on Twitter now
That chemo cam feel worse than the cancer.I had cancer 4 1/2 years ago. They removed the tumor, but my oncologist put me on a chemo drug to prevent a recurrence. Problem is, as time went on, he kept changing the longevity of it until it became a permanent situation. I would be taking this chemo the rest of my life.
Well, when I was making my Christmas cookies (I make about 45 dozen in 2 days) I took myself off the drug to get through it. It was life changing. I no longer had aches in my shoulders and back, I wasn't nauseous, and I had energy. So I called my oncologist and said I wanted off the drug. He agreed as long as I would come in every three months for a CT Scan. I agree! Fair trade!
I feel like I have a new lease on life. My cancer has a high risk of recurrence, but I absolutely believe I was healed 4 1/2 years ago. Time to find out if I'm right. (That's another whole story.)
Valerie, I have to say, that is one gorgeous Rooster there.I hope it all goes well today. And especially hope the pain goes away. I'm sure the stress of everything doesn't help.
Picked up a third antibiotic this morning. I finished two. Didn't know there was going to be a third after if finished the first two. This one for the UTI. Going to see about a good nap shortly. I did get another half hour nap in this morning making it 6 1/2 hours for the night total.
