I've had a shower and shaved for the first time in a couple of weeks. Feel almost human again.

I was at the doctors getting bloodwork done for tomorrow’s appointment. I didn’t get it done earlier so I just got it done now. On the way back to clubhouse now. I can’t wait for tomorrow’s appointment though. LOL

I had blood drawn yesterday. We're used to needles right? Still no fun.

We have a reg queen bed that works like a hospital bed elevating the head all the time. Makes breathing easier for both of us.

Me too. Bed raises. I put it up when we first moved here to see if there's mive didn't hurt anything, now I can't find the remote. At least I like where it's at for now. I'm sleeping among boxes. Still waiting on carpet!

Picked up a third antibiotic this morning. I finished two. Didn't know there was going to be a third after if finished the first two. This one for the UTI. Going to see about a good nap shortly. I did get another half hour nap in this morning making it 6 1/2 hours for the night total.

Get some probiotics into you. Culturelle or something.

That chemo cam feel worse than the cancer. Of course it keeps you here.

Not in my case. The cancer took 2 years to diagnose and I was in and out of the hospital getting blood transfusions (7 or 8, lost count) and having the same tests run over and over again. I was so relieved to get a diagnosis and treatment. I believe it is all in my past now, and I'm holding on to that.

Valerie, I have to say, that is one gorgeous Rooster there.

Thanks!! That's Cooper. He is currently separate from the flock, but right next door and able to hang out with them. The two roosters don't get along and the other one is the potential breeder. After a year, Cooper did not produce any offspring, even with 6 broody hens. I don't want to raise chicks, so a rooster who produces is what I need. Still, I don't want to cull Cooper and I hope to reintegrate him this spring. We'll see how that goes.

I'm not. I'm a hard stick and it generally takes 2 RN's and a sonagram to find a vein. Without that, they just dig around in 3 or 4 spots. Not fun at all!

Not like you are thinking. It adds back in some friendly bacteria so your system keeps functioning well. We all need both bacteria and yeast in our system and it's not good for one to overtake the other. Antibiotics are indiscriminate and will kill all the bacteria, even the good.
