Well, I sure am sorry you are all having so much trouble sleeping. I do usually get 7 or 8 hours sleep, but it is interrupted every hour for a run to the restroom. They took out part of my bladder in surgery, so I wake up frequently. But I go right back to sleep. I just sing hymns in my mind until I'm asleep. That way my brain doesn't get a chance to engage.

Granny, I hope you get an opportunity to nap today in between taking care of Tom.

When my computer is acting up, it usually means I need to update Windows. I think it intentionally starts shutting things down until I update it. Your computer might be set up for automatic updates, which would prevent this particular thing.

I'm not very savvy on the computer either. Wish I could help. Sounds like Larry is the resident expert. Hope the two of you can work it out.

When my computer is acting up, it usually means I need to update Windows. I think it intentionally starts shutting things down until I update it. Your computer might be set up for automatic updates, which would prevent this particular thing.

I used to have that problem too. Spent about a year trying to figure out why. Different Rx, the whole nine yards. Even did a sleep study. Finally figured it out. I have GERD, acid reflux. That was waking me up. Now I sleep sitting up and voila! Sleeping through the night, most nights. Sometimes dear cat sleeps on my chest and I am allergic to her, that's sure to wake me, lol.

Hmmm… I do have GERD… I could try that… but then again when I wake up, I do legitimately have to pee every time LOL I drink a LOT of liquids… including waking up in the middle of the night to drink more like random glasses of milk sometimes… so no wonder!!!!
