I'm not crazy about any fish with the possible exception of halibut and salmon, and we don't eat shellfish (Lev. 11).

Heres a question for all y'all Betty Crocker s, Why do you add bread crumbs. crackers or oatmeal to your meatloaf?
The eggs hold it together. Is it because that's the way your mom did it or???

for me it acts as 1) binder 2) makes your meatloaf larger withOUT using more meat 3) soaks up some of the fat (flavor) from the burger.

I use oatmeal instead of crackers less salt that way and instead of soaked bread less mess and also I feel healthier than the other options.

use extra eggs as it's dry otherwise. Think particle board IMHO
