Tuesday we are stocking on some avocados for salads. Don't think I need any on my hair just yet.

Y'all be good. I've been up and down all night long and am going to see if I can sleep til 1:00. Rains have been moved farther out so I don't have to do anything outside today other than take care of the chickens.

If they had one made out of rutabaga I might consider it.

The walks are melting off as I clear them but as I go back to the house they are icy. The car got stuck in the parking lot. I didn't really want it stuck because the predictions this week are snow and freezing rain. I wanted to park it in front of the house by the front door. Our parking lot is a slight slope. So I cleared a spot on the road in front of the house. Then shoveled the top crust of sleet from behind the car and swept the gravel clear behind the car. Gave it some gas and got it out. DH went to the store and hopefully this time he comes home with salt. Going to the car from the front door has a lot of steps. Going out the back door is flat but much farther to the car.
Guess if it will be icy this week we stay in the house, less risk of slipping on ice!
